Job Title: Instrument Lab Technicians

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Field Instrumentation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an ITI/Technical Certificate in Instrumentation & Control Engineering, along with 1-2 years of relevant field experience in instrumentation work. A UAE driving license is preferred. This role involves performing maintenance tasks, assisting with site issues, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of Field Instruments:

  • Perform periodic maintenance of field instruments such as MOV, PT, FT, AT, TT, LT enclosures, etc., as per DEWA checklist.

• Assistance in Site Activities:

  • Assist the team leader with all types of site-related issues, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.

• Safety Compliance:

  • Strictly adhere to safety protocols on-site (wearing safety shoes, PPE, safety helmets, etc.), ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.

• Cable Management:

  • Carry out cable pulling, manual excavation for duct laying, and other site activities as required.

  • Perform wiring, termination, and glanding of power and instrumentation cables to ensure proper system functioning.

• Housekeeping & Dewatering:

  • Assist in general housekeeping tasks and dewatering operations to maintain site cleanliness and ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education:

  • ITI/Technical Certificate in Instrumentation & Control Engineering or equivalent.

• Experience:

  • 3-5 years of field instrumentation experience or related work in a similar role.

• Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in maintaining and troubleshooting field instruments.

  • Ability to handle basic electrical wiring and instrumentation cable tasks.

  • Knowledge of site safety procedures and commitment to strict safety compliance.

• Additional Requirements:

  • A valid UAE driving license is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Must be able to work in challenging field environments and follow instructions from the Engineer/Team Leader.
