Job Description

Independent Information Technology (IT) Recruiter – UAE (Hybrid/Flexible)

About the Role:

We are seeking an Independent Information Technology (IT) Recruiter to source, assess, and place top-tier professionals within the IT and networking industry across the UAE. This role requires an individual with a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, networking technologies, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and telecommunications, recruiting for positions such as network engineers, system administrators, cybersecurity specialists, IT support professionals, and cloud architects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Research & Candidate Sourcing

  • Conduct in-depth market research for IT and networking positions, analyzing hiring trends, salary benchmarks, and employment types (permanent, contract, remote).
  • Source highly qualified candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, GitHub, networking communities, and professional referrals.
  • Build strong relationships with IT service providers, cloud solution companies, telecom firms, and cybersecurity specialists to expand the talent pipeline and stay updated on workforce demands.

2. Candidate Screening & Assessment

  • Initial Screening: Review CVs, technical skills, certifications, and work experience to shortlist candidates based on client requirements.
  • Technical & Management Interviews: Conduct in-depth interviews in collaboration with clients and industry experts to evaluate candidates' expertise in network infrastructure, cybersecurity protocols, cloud computing, and IT project management.
  • Skills & Certification Verification: Ensure candidates hold relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, AWS, Microsoft Azure, ITIL, PMP).
  • Competency & Compliance Assessment: Evaluate candidates' proficiency in troubleshooting network issues, securing IT infrastructure, managing cloud environments, and implementing IT governance policies in alignment with UAE market demands.

3. Client Collaboration

  • Partner with IT companies, cloud service providers, data centers, and enterprises to understand their specific staffing needs for roles such as network engineers, cybersecurity analysts, IT support specialists, and cloud consultants.
  • Provide insights on salary expectations, skill shortages, and emerging technologies in IT infrastructure and networking.
  • Assist clients in creating job descriptions that attract top talent for specialized IT and networking roles.

4. Interview Coordination & Feedback

  • Schedule and facilitate technical interviews between candidates and clients, managing all logistics and follow-ups.
  • Gather feedback from both candidates and clients post-interviews, offering constructive advice for improvement and assisting in decision-making.
  • Provide candidates with interview coaching, including technical preparation for network troubleshooting, security assessments, and system architecture discussions.

5. Talent Database Management

  • Maintain a detailed and up-to-date database of IT and networking professionals, including certifications, skills, experience, and availability.
  • Track candidates' compliance with industry standards and emerging technology trends.
  • Regularly update records to reflect new certifications, project experience, and availability for contract or full-time roles.

6. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure all placements comply with UAE labor laws and IT security regulations.
  • Verify work permits, visas, and technical certifications to ensure candidates meet legal and technical requirements.
  • Stay informed about evolving compliance standards in cybersecurity, cloud computing, and data protection laws.

7. Onboarding & Post-Placement Support

  • Assist newly placed candidates in the onboarding process, ensuring they understand system architecture, security protocols, and client expectations.
  • Serve as a point of contact for both clients and candidates after placement, addressing any post-placement concerns.
  • Provide ongoing support to ensure employee retention, satisfaction, and continued professional development.

8. Continuous Improvement & Industry Insights

  • Stay updated on the latest IT and networking trends, including AI-driven automation, cloud security, 5G networking, and emerging cybersecurity threats.
  • Recommend improvements to recruitment processes to enhance efficiency in sourcing and attracting top IT and networking talent.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field; MBA or HR certification is a plus.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of recruitment experience within the IT and networking industry.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong familiarity with network infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity frameworks, IT service management, and telecom solutions.
  • Legal & Compliance: Understanding of UAE labor laws, IT employment regulations, and data protection policies.
  • Recruitment & Client Management: Proven ability to manage multiple IT recruitment processes while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Independence & Efficiency: Capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision while meeting client expectations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and professional networking platforms.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is required; Arabic or other relevant languages are a plus.
