Job Description

Job Title: Business Development Executive – Fabrication and Related Services

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Executive to drive sales and expand our presence in the fabrication and related services industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, engaging with key clients, and driving revenue growth in sectors such as oil & gas, construction, power plants, manufacturing, and heavy industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Expansion & Client Registration:

  • Identify and register the company with key industrial clients, including engineering firms, construction companies, EPC contractors, and manufacturing plants.
  • Develop relationships with procurement teams, vendor registration departments, and key decision-makers.
  • Ensure compliance with client registration, tendering, and pre-qualification requirements.

Sales & Business Development:

  • Track industry trends, infrastructure projects, plant maintenance, and shutdown schedules to identify fabrication service needs.
  • Engage with project managers and procurement teams before RFQs are issued to secure early involvement.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with EPC contractors, project consultants, and procurement professionals.
  • Maintain an updated database of upcoming projects, tenders, and fabrication service requirements.

Lead Generation & Client Engagement:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients needing fabrication, welding, steel structure manufacturing, and related services.
  • Initiate contact with prospects through calls, emails, and site visits to introduce our fabrication capabilities.
  • Arrange and lead client meetings, technical presentations, and capability discussions.

Proposal & Sales Management:

  • Work closely with the engineering and production teams to prepare proposals, quotations, and project plans.
  • Track and follow up on bid opportunities to ensure timely submission and competitive positioning.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring alignment with the company's pricing strategy and revenue goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in fabrication, welding, steel structures, or mechanical services.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication processes, welding techniques, metalworks, and industrial applications.
  • Proven ability to generate leads, track projects, and convert opportunities into revenue.
  • Excellent networking, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of vendor registration, pre-qualification, and tendering processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and market analysis tools.
