Job Description

Job Title: Business Development Executive – Turbine and Related Services

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to drive growth in the turbine services sector, including maintenance, repair, overhauling, and spare parts supply. The ideal candidate will focus on expanding our presence in power generation, oil & gas, petrochemical, and industrial sectors, building strong client relationships, and securing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Expansion & Client Registration:

  • Identify and register the company with key clients, including power plants, oil refineries, petrochemical plants, and industrial facilities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with procurement teams, O&M managers, and engineering departments.
  • Ensure compliance with pre-qualification and tender registration requirements to secure eligibility for turbine service contracts.

Sales & Business Development:

  • Track power plant maintenance schedules, turbine shutdowns, and refurbishment projects to identify sales opportunities.
  • Engage with key decision-makers before RFQs are issued to position the company for upcoming projects.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with OEMs, EPC contractors, and service providers in the turbine industry.
  • Maintain an updated database of upcoming tenders, projects, and turbine maintenance schedules.

Lead Generation & Client Engagement:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients needing turbine maintenance, overhauls, and component supply.
  • Initiate contact with prospective clients through calls, emails, and on-site visits to introduce our services.
  • Organize technical presentations and meetings with clients to demonstrate our expertise in turbine servicing.

Proposal & Sales Management:

  • Collaborate with the engineering and operations teams to prepare proposals and pre-qualification documents.
  • Track and follow up on bid opportunities to ensure timely submission and competitive positioning.
  • Negotiate contract terms and close deals, ensuring profitability and long-term partnerships.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in turbine maintenance, power plant services, or rotating equipment.
  • Strong understanding of gas turbines, steam turbines, and associated maintenance processes.
  • Proven ability to generate leads, track projects, and convert opportunities into sales.
  • Excellent networking, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of vendor registration, pre-qualification, and tendering processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and market analysis tools.
