Junior ERP Sales Executive

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated Junior ERP Sales Executive to join our sales team. In this role, you will focus on identifying potential customers, nurturing leads, and supporting the sales process from discovery to closing. You will work closely with senior sales professionals and technical teams to understand client needs and communicate the value of our ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead Generation & Qualification

    • Research and identify potential customers through various channels (online research, networking events, referrals, etc.).
    • Conduct initial outreach and maintain regular follow-up to gauge prospect interest and qualify leads for senior sales staff.
  2. Product Knowledge & Demonstrations

    • Develop a solid understanding of ERP products, including features, benefits, and competitive positioning.
    • Assist in product demonstrations or presentations, highlighting key functionalities and addressing basic prospect questions.
  3. Sales Pipeline Management

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, tracking all leads, opportunities, and relevant communications.
    • Collaborate with senior sales executives to progress opportunities through the sales funnel and ensure timely follow-up.
  4. Client Engagement & Relationship Building

    • Provide excellent customer service by responding to client inquiries promptly and professionally.
    • Attend client meetings (virtual or on-site) with senior team members to learn sales tactics and cultivate relationships.
  5. Collaboration with Internal Teams

    • Work closely with implementation, technical, and marketing teams to gather information needed for proposals.
    • Contribute to the creation of sales collateral, proposals, and RFP/RFQ responses.
  6. Market Research & Strategy

    • Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
    • Share insights with the sales and marketing teams to refine strategies and optimize lead generation efforts.
  7. Reporting & Analysis

    • Prepare regular status updates on sales activities, lead progress, and potential deal closures.
    • Identify areas for improvement in the sales process and suggest innovative approaches to increase efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in B2B sales, telemarketing, or lead generation (experience selling software or technology solutions is a plus).
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to quickly learn and explain ERP features, functionality, and value propositions.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with prospects and internal stakeholders.
  • CRM Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Collaboration: Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
