Job Title: Instrumentation Technician (Water Treatment)

Overview of the Role

The Instrumentation Technician (Water Treatment) at Talent Pool is a vital position responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of instrumentation and control systems used in water treatment facilities. This asistant-level role requires a detail-oriented individual with a foundational understanding of instrumentation technology and a passion for maintaining high standards in water quality and safety. The successful candidate will work closely with senior technicians and engineers to support the installation, calibration, and maintenance of various instruments and control systems, contributing to the efficient operation of water treatment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Activities:
    • Perform periodic maintenance of field instruments such as MOVs, PTs, FTs, ATs, TTs, LT enclosures, etc., as per client-provided checklists.
    • Conduct wiring, termination, and glanding of power and instrumentation cables.
    • Execute cable pulling and manual excavation for duct laying, as required.
  • Team Support:
    • Assist engineers and team leaders in addressing site issues and resolving challenges.
    • Support housekeeping and dewatering activities as needed.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Strictly adhere to safety protocols at the site, including the use of PPE such as safety shoes, helmets, and other required gear.
    • Ensure safe working practices in line with client safety standards.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Hands-on experience with field instrumentation and related maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to follow instructions and execute tasks effectively.
  • Basic understanding of safety practices in an industrial setting.
  • Team player with a willingness to assist in varied tasks as directed.

Qualification & Experience:

  • ITI/Technical Certificate in Instrumentation & Controls Engineering.
  • 3–5 years of field instrumentation experience or related work.
