Job Description

Job Purpose

To drive business growth by promoting and selling Instrumentation & Control and metrology products and services across industries such as Oil & Gas, Power, Water, and Manufacturing. The role involves using technical expertise and sales skills to identify new business opportunities, develop tailored customer solutions, prepare technical proposals, and deliver presentations on a range of I&C products and services, including sensors, control valves, PLC systems, and calibration/testing services. The position also requires regular client interaction, site visits, and strong after-sales support to build long-term customer relationships, achieve sales targets, and contribute to revenue growth and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell Instrumentation & Control and metrology products and services within assigned markets and accounts across Oil & Gas, Power, Water, and Manufacturing sectors.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities while managing and growing existing customer relationships to expand the customer base and increase market share.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular meetings, site visits, follow-up, and after-sales support.

  • Understand customer requirements and recommend technically sound solutions, including suitable product selection, based on operational needs.

  • Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender documents in line with client specifications.

  • Conduct client visits, product presentations, technical discussions, and demonstrations to support customer decision-making and secure business opportunities.

  • Coordinate with internal teams, principals, and suppliers for technical clarification, accurate pricing, product selection, and timely delivery.

  • Provide after-sales support, including follow-up on installations, calibration/testing services, and resolution of customer concerns, to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to identify sales opportunities and support business development strategy.

  • Achieve assigned sales targets, revenue goals, and overall performance objectives.

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, pipeline status, forecasts, and CRM updates.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, technical standards, and industry requirements in all sales activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Additional certification or training in sales, metrology, or industrial instrumentation will be an advantage.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in sales of Instrumentation & Control, metrology, or related industrial products/services.

  • Good knowledge of I&C products such as sensors, control valves, PLC systems, and calibration/testing services.

  • Experience working with clients in industries such as Oil & Gas, Power, Water, or Manufacturing.

  • Ability to prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender documents.

  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office applications.
