Job Role

Engaged on an on-call, emergency basis to provide diagnosis, repair, and maintenance services for air conditioning systems (split, window, ducted, and package units) in residential and light-commercial premises. The role requires fast, efficient service to restore air conditioning functionality, ensuring client comfort and system efficiency. You will also conduct preventive maintenance and offer recommendations for system upgrades or replacements.

Key Responsibilities

• Emergency repair services: Respond to emergency AC breakdowns, identify faults in electrical and mechanical systems, and restore functionality.

• Routine service & maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance services, including cleaning filters, coils, checking refrigerant levels, ensuring proper airflow, and inspecting electrical connections.

• System troubleshooting: Diagnose issues such as compressor failure, refrigerant leaks, thermostat malfunction, and electrical control issues.

• Installations & replacements: Install or replace AC units, compressors, fans, capacitors, thermostats, and other components, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with safety regulations.

• Client communication: Clearly explain the problem, solution options, and estimated costs to clients; provide clients with advice on system care and maintenance to improve energy efficiency and extend the lifespan of their units.

• Documentation & reporting: Record the details of each job, including the nature of the issue, parts replaced, time taken, and any recommendations for future maintenance. Submit detailed reports, including before/after photos, to CRM.

• HSE compliance: Follow proper safety protocols, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures when necessary, and use required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Maintain cleanliness at job sites.

Minimum Requirements

• 3+ years experience as an AC technician (UAE/GCC preferred) with solid expertise in servicing residential and light-commercial AC systems.

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various AC units (split, ducted, packaged, window).

• Familiarity with refrigerant types (R22, R410A, R32) and the ability to handle refrigerant safely.

• Knowledge of AC systems, thermostats, wiring, electrical components, and associated control systems.

• Basic English for communication and documentation (Arabic/Hindi/Urdu a plus).

• Smartphone for CRM, navigation, and photo documentation.

• Valid UAE driving licence preferred for inter-emirate travel and service calls.

Education & Certifications

• ITI/Trade Certification or Diploma in Air Conditioning or Refrigeration (preferred).

• Valid F-gas certification or other refrigerant handling certificates (preferred).

• First Aid and HSE Awareness certifications are a plus.
