Job Role 

Engaged on a per-job basis to diagnose, repair, install, and maintain residential/light-commercial plumbing systems. Scope covers water supply, fixtures, drainage, pumps, heaters, and minor waterproofing/make-good. Work to defined quality, safety, and turnaround SLAs; coordinate with dispatch for access/materials; close jobs with full documentation and client sign-off.

Key Responsibilities

• Reactive repairs: Leak tracing and rectification, mixer/angle valve/hoses/traps, WC flush kits, bidet sprays, PRV/NRV/float valves, water hammer arrest, sealants/silicone, clogged drains (manual/auger).

• Installations & replacements: Sanitary ware (WC, basins, kitchen sinks), water heaters (storage/instant with isolation/expansion), filters/softeners, booster/submersible pumps, basic grease traps, laundry/kitchen connections.

• Pipework: Cut, join, and route PPR/CPVC/UPVC/copper; brazing/press (where applicable); brackets/supports; pressure testing and disinfection.

• Drainage: Slope checks, P-trap/vent checks, gully and floor drain resets, minor rerouting, odor troubleshooting.

• Preventive maintenance: Tank/booster visual checks, strainers, aerators, cartridge changes, valve exercising, anode checks (where applicable).

• Documentation: Record before/after photos, readings (pressure/flow/temperature), materials used, test results, and client sign-off in CRM.

• HSE & compliance: PPE, LOTO/isolation where required, confined-space awareness (manholes), chemical handling, tidy work areas; protect client property.

• Coordination: Prepare BoQ, obtain approval for variations/parts, align with community rules/permits and other trades.

Minimum Requirements

• 3–5 years hands-on plumbing maintenance/fit-out (UAE/GCC preferred).

• Strong troubleshooting of supply/drainage systems, pumps, and heaters; ability to read basic drawings/isometrics.

• Competent with pressure testing, PRV/NRV setup, and fixture alignment/sealing.

• Basic English for notes and client updates (Arabic/Hindi/Urdu a plus).

• Smartphone for CRM, navigation, and photo documentation.

• Valid UAE driving licence preferred; able to travel between emirates.

Education & Certifications

• ITI/Trade Certificate or Diploma in Plumbing/Mechanical (preferred).

• HSE/First Aid/Confined-Space awareness a plus.
