Job Role 

Field-based, multi-trade technician engaged per job to deliver small repairs, minor installs, and make-good works across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, AC basics, masonry/painting, and fixtures. Work to defined quality, safety, and turnaround SLAs; coordinate with dispatch for access/materials; close jobs with full documentation and client sign-off.

Key Responsibilities

• Reactive repairs:

  • Plumbing: mixers/traps/hoses, WC flush kits, leak fixes, silicone/grout renewal.

  • Electrical (minor): light fittings, fans, switches/sockets, basic fault checks (no live DB work).

  • Carpentry: door alignment/hinges/locks/closers, cabinet/shelf install, skirting/trim fixes.

  • AC basics: filter/coil clean, drain clearing, capacitor/contactors (if competent), thermostat swaps.

  • Masonry/finishes: crack/tile spot repairs, patch & paint, touch-ups, sealants.

  • Fixtures: TV/bracket mounting (stud/anchor selection), curtain/blinds, mirrors, bathroom accessories.

• Small installations: Thermostats, water heaters (replacement like-for-like), kitchen/bath accessories, smoke/CO alarms.

• PM tasks: Execute simple PM checklists (AC/plumbing/electrical visuals), tightenings/labeling where permitted.

• Material coordination: Identify parts, prepare BoQ, obtain approvals for variations; arrange pick-ups/returns.

• Documentation: Record before/after photos, readings/measurements, materials used, timesheets, and client sign-off in CRM.

• HSE & housekeeping: PPE, work-at-height precautions, LOTO/isolation where required, dust/noise control, protect client property.

• Client communication: Explain findings/options clearly, agree ETAs, escalate when licensed trades/permits are required.

Minimum Requirements

• 3–5 years hands-on multi-trade maintenance (UAE/GCC preferred).

• Proficient in basic plumbing/electrical/carpentry/finishes with solid troubleshooting.

• Competent with drill/impact driver, anchors, hand tools, sealants/grouts; basic use of multimeter/clamp meter and AC gauges for simple checks.

• Able to read simple drawings/wiring diagrams and follow SOP checklists.

• Basic English for notes and client updates (Arabic/Hindi/Urdu a plus).

• Smartphone for CRM, navigation, and photo documentation.

• Valid UAE driving licence preferred; willing to travel between emirates.

Education & Certifications

• ITI/Trade Certificate or Diploma in a building-services discipline (Electrical/Mechanical/Plumbing/HVAC) preferred.

• HSE/First Aid/Work-at-Height awareness certificates are an advantage.
