Job Role 

Multi-trade field technician engaged on a per-job basis to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential/light-commercial facilities. Typical scope includes minor electrical, plumbing, AC, carpentry, and general repairs, executed to defined quality, safety, and turnaround SLAs. Coordinate with dispatch for work orders, materials, and access; close jobs with full documentation and client sign-off.

Key Responsibilities

• Reactive maintenance: Diagnose faults and carry out first-time fixes for lighting/sockets, small leaks/mixers/traps, door/hinge/lock issues, AC basic faults (capacitors, contactors, drain blocks), and small masonry/finishing touch-ups.

• Preventive maintenance: Execute PM checklists for AC (filters/coil wash, drain, electrical checks), plumbing (flush valves/aerators, tank/booster checks), and electrical (visual DB checks, labeling, tightening where permitted).

• Small installs & replacements: Light fittings, fans, switches/sockets, thermostats, faucets, traps/hoses, WC flush kits, silicone/grout renewals, cabinet/shelf mounting.

• MEP basics: Booster/pump priming, float switch/NRV checks, minor leak rectification, pressure/flow verification.

• HSE & compliance: Follow PPE, LOTO/isolation where required, work-at-height precautions, chemical handling, and housekeeping; protect client property.

• Documentation: Record before/after photos, readings/measurements, parts used, time sheets, and client sign-off in CRM.

• Materials & variations: Identify parts, prepare BoQ, obtain pre-approval for additional scope/cost; coordinate pick-ups/returns.

• Customer communication: Explain findings/options clearly; set realistic ETAs; escalate tasks requiring licensed trades or permits.

Minimum Requirements

• 3–5 years hands-on multi-trade maintenance (UAE/GCC experience preferred).

• Proficient in basic electrical, plumbing, AC, and carpentry repairs with solid troubleshooting skills.

• Competent with multimeter/clamp meter, basic AC gauges, hand/power tools, drilling/anchoring, sealants/grouts.

• Ability to read simple drawings/wiring diagrams and follow SOP checklists.

• Basic English for notes and client updates (Arabic/Hindi/Urdu a plus).

• Smartphone for CRM, navigation, and photo documentation.

• Valid UAE driving licence preferred; ability to travel between emirates.

Education & Certifications

• Trade certificate/ITI/Diploma in a building-services discipline (Electrical/Mechanical/Plumbing/HVAC) preferred.

• HSE/First Aid/Work-at-Height awareness certificates are an advantage.
