Role Summary

Provide manual labour support for residential and light-commercial maintenance works. Tasks include site preparation, loading/unloading, basic demolition and surface prep, assisting skilled trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, AC, cleaning), housekeeping, and close-out. Follow SOPs/HSE standards, coordinate with dispatch, and complete jobs with proper documentation and client sign-off.

Key Responsibilities

• Site setup & protection: Lay dust sheets, barriers, and signage; protect floors/walls; reinstate areas after work.

• Material handling & logistics: Load/unload vehicles, move tools/equipment, organize consumables; assist with store/supplier pickups.

• Basic demolition & prep: Chipping, scraping, sanding, removing fixtures/tiles (as directed); debris containment.

• Mixing & application: Mix mortar/concrete/grout/patching compounds; assist with placing and finishing under supervision.

• Trade assistance: Hold/position materials, measuring/marking, basic drilling/anchoring, sealant/caulking, touch-ups as instructed.

• Housekeeping & waste: Segregate recyclable/general waste, sweep/clean work zones, ensure tidy handover.

• Traffic & access support: Act as spotter/flagman where trained; comply with building/community access and parking rules.

• Tool care: Basic care of hand/power tools; report defects and maintain inventory.

• Documentation: Upload before/after photos, timesheets, and notes to CRM; obtain client sign-off.

• Communication: Be courteous in occupied premises; escalate issues to team lead/dispatch promptly.

Minimum Requirements

• 1–3 years experience as general labourer/helper in facilities, construction, or maintenance (UAE experience preferred).

• Physically fit for lifting, stairs, and outdoor work; good situational awareness around traffic and moving equipment.

• Familiarity with basic hand tools and small power tools; able to follow instructions and checklists.

• Basic English for simple notes/updates (Arabic/Hindi/Urdu a plus).

• Smartphone for CRM, navigation, and photo documentation.
