Job Role 

Engaged on a per-job basis to diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and perform small installations/upgrades for residential and light-commercial electrical systems. You’ll follow our SOPs/HSE standards, coordinate with dispatch, and close jobs with documentation and client sign-off.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend assigned work orders; verify scope, risks, and required shutdowns/permits before starting.

• Diagnose and repair faults on single/three-phase systems up to 415V: tripping MCB/RCD, overheating, loose terminations, short/earth faults.

• Install/replace/upgrade: MCBs/RCDs/MCCBs, isolators, sockets & switches, lighting circuits (LED, downlights), ceiling fans, exhausts, water-heater/AC isolators, doorbells/intercom peripherals.

• DB works: re-termination, load balancing, labeling, busbar/neutral/earth checks, tightening & insulation tests; minor DB upgrades where permitted.

• Cable works: conduit/cable tray/surface trunking, pulling/termination, crimping, ferruling, and continuity/insulation testing.

• Earthing & bonding checks; measure and rectify poor earth resistance where feasible.

• Perform testing & commissioning with documented readings (continuity, insulation resistance, polarity, RCD time/trip).

• Coordinate variations/parts with dispatch, maintain site HSE (LOTO, permit-to-work where required), and protect client property.

• Record job details in CRM: before/after photos, test readings, materials used, time sheets, and client sign-off.

Minimum Requirements

• 3–5 years hands-on residential/light-commercial electrical maintenance & small projects (UAE experience preferred).

• Strong troubleshooting on protection devices, circuits, and control wiring; ability to read SLDs/schematics.

• Competent with: multimeter, clamp meter, insulation/megger tester, RCD tester, earth resistance tester, tone tracer, crimp tools, conduit bender.

• Knowledge of UAE authority practices/standards (e.g., DEWA/ADDC, DCD basics) and safe load/Derating in local conditions.

• Basic English for notes and client updates (Arabic/Hindi/Urdu a plus).

• Smartphone for CRM, navigation, and photo documentation.

• Valid UAE driving license preferred; ability to travel between emirates.

Education & Certifications

• ITI/Trade Certificate or Diploma in Electrical (or equivalent).

• KHDA/TVET or authority recognition a plus; basic First Aid and H2S/Work-at-Height preferred.
