Job Summary:
As a Junior Web Designer to create visually appealing, user-friendly websites that enhance the user experience. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of web design principles, UI/UX best practices, and front-end technologies. This role involves working closely with developers, designers, and content teams to bring creative web concepts to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop responsive, visually engaging web pages.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity website mockups.
- Ensure website usability, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness.
- Optimize website design for speed, performance, and SEO.
- Collaborate with developers to integrate designs into functional websites.
- Conduct usability testing and make data-driven design improvements.
- Maintain consistency in branding, typography, and color schemes across web assets.
- Stay updated with the latest web design trends, tools, and best practices.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Strong understanding of web design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design concepts and responsive web design techniques.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and user-friendly web interfaces.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and website performance optimization.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A portfolio showcasing previous web design projects.
Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in web design (internships or freelance projects considered).
