Job Summary:

As a Junior Web Designer to create visually appealing, user-friendly websites that enhance the user experience. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of web design principles, UI/UX best practices, and front-end technologies. This role involves working closely with developers, designers, and content teams to bring creative web concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop responsive, visually engaging web pages.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity website mockups.
• Ensure website usability, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness.
• Optimize website design for speed, performance, and SEO.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate designs into functional websites.
• Conduct usability testing and make data-driven design improvements.
• Maintain consistency in branding, typography, and color schemes across web assets.
• Stay updated with the latest web design trends, tools, and best practices.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

• Strong understanding of web design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design concepts and responsive web design techniques.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and user-friendly web interfaces.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A portfolio showcasing previous web design projects.

Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience in web design (internships or freelance projects considered).
