Engaged on a per-job or shift basis to manage the removal and disposal of waste from residential, commercial, and industrial properties. The Waste Removal Operator will be responsible for safely transporting, sorting, and disposing of waste materials in compliance with local regulations and environmental standards. The role involves operating waste removal vehicles, ensuring the cleanliness of the site, and adhering to safety protocols.
Waste Collection & Removal:
Operate waste collection vehicles, including trucks, tippers, or compactors, to collect and transport waste from various locations (residential, commercial, industrial).
Load and unload waste materials safely, ensuring that all materials are handled properly and in accordance with environmental standards.
Sort and separate recyclable materials from general waste for proper disposal or recycling.
Vehicle Operation & Maintenance:
Operate waste removal vehicles efficiently and safely, ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition.
Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as cleaning the vehicle, checking fluid levels, and reporting any mechanical issues or damage.
Ensure proper functioning of safety features and equipment on the vehicle, including compactors and lifting systems.
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to local waste disposal regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials, and follow safety guidelines while loading, transporting, and unloading waste.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, masks, safety shoes, and other required gear, while working to ensure personal safety.
Follow safe driving practices and traffic regulations while operating waste removal vehicles.
Report any accidents, incidents, or unsafe conditions immediately to the supervisor.
Client Interaction & Site Management:
Communicate with clients to confirm waste removal schedules, locations, and any special instructions for handling waste.
Ensure the removal site is clean and free of debris after waste collection.
Address client concerns or requests regarding waste removal services in a professional and courteous manner.
Documentation & Reporting:
Keep accurate records of waste removal activities, including timesheets, site visits, and materials collected.
Submit job completion reports, including vehicle usage, time spent on-site, and any issues encountered during the job.
Maintain inventory of waste disposal equipment and tools.
2–4 years of experience in waste removal or driving heavy vehicles (UAE/GCC preferred).
Valid UAE driving license for operating waste removal vehicles (heavy vehicle license is preferred).
Knowledge of proper waste handling, including recycling protocols, hazardous materials disposal, and local waste management regulations.
Ability to work efficiently and independently while following safety procedures and guidelines.
Basic English for communication and documentation (Arabic/Hindi/Urdu a plus).
Smartphone for CRM, navigation, and photo documentation.
Ability to lift and carry heavy loads as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent.
HSE or First Aid certifications are a plus.
Waste Management or Environmental Health and Safety certification is an advantage.
