The Mid-Level Warehouse Assistant plays a key role in maintaining warehouse operations, including inventory control, goods handling, and supporting dispatch processes. The role requires familiarity with warehouse systems, safe handling practices, and coordination with logistics and procurement teams to ensure efficient material flow.
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against delivery notes or purchase orders.
Organize and store materials in designated locations using proper storage methods.
Assist in picking, packing, and preparing goods for shipment or internal distribution.
Maintain accurate stock records and support regular inventory counts and audits.
Operate warehouse tools and equipment such as pallet jacks and trolleys.
Identify and report damaged, expired, or missing stock items.
Ensure proper labeling and documentation of goods.
Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse.
Assist in training and guiding junior warehouse helpers.
Adhere to all safety and operational procedures.
Secondary school education or vocational training in logistics or warehousing.
2–4 years of experience in a warehouse, store, or logistics role.
Good understanding of inventory handling and basic documentation.
Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
Familiarity with basic warehouse software or inventory systems is a plus.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Forklift operator license (if applicable).
Basic knowledge of stock control and warehouse KPIs.
Experience working in a structured warehouse (industrial, FMCG, or construction materials preferred).
