The Junior Valve Technician – Sanitary Systems assists in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of sanitary valve systems used in hygienic food and beverage processing environments. This entry-level role supports senior technicians and engineers in ensuring valves operate reliably, meet hygiene standards, and comply with regulatory requirements. The technician performs routine inspections, basic repairs, and preventive maintenance under supervision, contributing to uninterrupted production and food safety.
Assist in the installation and setup of sanitary valves including manual and automated (pneumatic/electric actuated) valves.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, seal replacement, and minor repairs.
Support valve calibration and functional testing to ensure proper operation.
Conduct visual inspections for valve wear, leaks, or contamination.
Identify and report valve malfunctions or potential failures to senior technicians or engineers.
Assist in troubleshooting valve system issues and support corrective actions.
Maintain maintenance logs, service records, and calibration documentation.
Follow hygiene and safety protocols to comply with 3-A Sanitary Standards, FDA regulations, and company policies.
Participate in training on valve systems, food safety, and workplace safety procedures.
Work closely with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to support plant operations.
Communicate effectively to escalate urgent valve issues and ensure timely resolution.

Ability to follow procedures and work under supervision
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and hygiene
Good communication and willingness to learn
