    • Perform regular maintenance and repair on valves across various industrial applications, ensuring optimal operation and extending valve life.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot valve issues such as leaks, wear, and improper function, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
    • Lead valve disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly processes, ensuring valves are returned to service with no defects.
  2. Valve Installation and Commissioning:

    • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new valves, ensuring they are installed in compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
    • Lead the installation of valve systems in industrial systems such as pipelines, reactors, and pressure vessels, ensuring proper integration.
    • Oversee valve testing during installation to ensure all specifications are met, including pressure testing and system performance verification.
  3. Valve Testing and Quality Assurance:

    • Lead and perform tests on valves, including pressure, flow, and leak tests to verify functionality and performance.
    • Prepare and document test results, ensuring valves meet all quality and operational standards before release.
    • Provide technical feedback on valve performance based on test results and develop strategies for improving performance.
  4. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:

    • Lead the troubleshooting process for any valve-related issues, including operational failures, leaks, and damage.
    • Coordinate with engineers and other technicians to develop solutions and resolve issues promptly to prevent downtime.
    • Provide expert guidance in identifying and implementing preventative maintenance solutions to avoid future system failures.
  5. Mentorship and Team Leadership:

    • Mentor junior valve technicians and provide technical guidance and support in maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing activities.
    • Review and approve maintenance activities and reports completed by junior technicians.
    • Lead by example in ensuring quality standards and safety procedures are followed throughout all valve maintenance processes.
  6. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain detailed records of valve maintenance activities, repairs, testing procedures, and equipment specifications.
    • Prepare technical reports and service documentation for senior engineers and management, summarizing valve issues, solutions, and test results.
    • Ensure all documentation complies with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  7. Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for improving valve performance, maintenance procedures, and operational efficiency.
    • Work with engineers to implement upgrades or modifications to existing valve systems based on testing feedback or operational challenges.
    • Stay current with industry developments and new valve technologies, incorporating innovative solutions into valve maintenance practices.
  8. Safety and Compliance:

    • Ensure all valve maintenance work is performed in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
    • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment during valve repairs, installations, and testing.
    • Maintain compliance with all industry standards such as API, ANSI, ASME, ISO, and OSHA regulations.
