- Support the preparation of technical documentation, such as datasheets and specifications, for valve products.
- Help in the selection of materials and valve sizes to meet pressure, temperature, and flow requirements.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Assist in conducting valve testing, including pressure testing, leak testing, and performance evaluation under various conditions.
- Work with senior engineers to analyze test results, identify issues, and propose corrective actions.
- Ensure that valves meet industry standards and regulatory requirements such as API, ANSI, and ASME.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance Support:
- Assist in identifying and resolving issues related to valve operation, such as leaks, wear, or failures.
- Participate in valve inspections and provide support during repair or replacement processes.
- Help in developing and following maintenance procedures to ensure valves are operating efficiently and safely.
Installation and Commissioning Support:
- Support valve installation efforts, ensuring valves are properly installed, aligned, and integrated into larger systems.
- Assist in commissioning new valve systems, ensuring they meet all functional and safety requirements.
- Help monitor and troubleshoot any issues during installation and startup.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Work closely with design engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams to ensure that valve systems meet specifications and are ready for production.
- Participate in meetings with clients or other departments to provide technical support for valve selection and maintenance.
Learning and Development:
- Participate in training programs to expand knowledge in valve engineering, fluid dynamics, material science, and industry standards.
- Continuously develop your understanding of valve technologies and industry trends to improve skills and contribute to innovation within the team.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of valve testing, maintenance activities, and design changes.
- Prepare reports summarizing test results, maintenance findings, and design modifications.
- Assist in ensuring all documentation complies with internal and external standards and regulations
Key Focus Areas:
