We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Valve Mechanical Engineer. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals passionate about mechanical design and valve systems. As a trainee, you will work closely with experienced engineers and technicians to learn about valve manufacturing, design, and maintenance, while contributing to our innovative projects and ensuring quality and safety standards.
Support Valve Design & Development:
Collaborate with senior engineers on the design and prototyping of various valve systems.
Assist in drafting technical drawings, 3D models, and conducting design iterations using CAD software.
Participate in material selection processes and evaluate design feasibility from a mechanical perspective.
Manufacturing & Quality Assurance:
Work alongside production teams to observe and understand the manufacturing processes of valves.
Support quality assurance tasks including inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of valve components.
Assist in updating maintenance procedures and quality control documentation to comply with industry standards.
Performance Testing & Analysis:
Aid in the execution of performance tests to ensure valve functionality under operational pressures and conditions.
Help analyze test data, prepare reports, and propose modifications based on performance outcomes.
Collaborate on research initiatives aimed at optimizing valve efficiency and longevity.
Installation & Maintenance Support:
Gain hands-on experience in valve installation, adjustment, and maintenance in various industrial applications.
Learn to interpret technical documentation and service manuals to support field operations.
Assist in routine maintenance tasks and emergency repair procedures under close supervision.
Regulatory Compliance & Documentation:
Develop an understanding of relevant industry standards (e.g., API, ANSI) and local regulations.
Maintain accurate records of design revisions, test results, and maintenance activities.
Prepare detailed documentation and reports for internal audits and compliance reviews.
Team Collaboration & Professional Development:
Engage with cross-functional teams including production, R&D, and field services to gain a comprehensive understanding of the product lifecycle.
Participate in technical meetings, training sessions, and workshops to develop engineering skills.
Provide support during project phases and contribute ideas for process improvements.
Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant internships, co-op programs, or project experience in mechanical design or manufacturing is highly beneficial.
Technical Skills:
Basic knowledge of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation tools.
Familiarity with mechanical design principles, material science, and manufacturing processes.
Understanding of quality assurance and testing methodologies in a production environment.
