The Vice President of Manufacturing & Custom Mechanical Solutions leads the strategic direction, operations, and innovation of manufacturing facilities focused on producing custom mechanical equipment and solutions, including valves, actuators, piping systems, and specialized machinery for water treatment applications. This executive role ensures the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective products aligned with customer requirements and market demands.
Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
Define and execute the manufacturing strategy to support business growth in custom mechanical solutions for water treatment and related industries.
Identify new market opportunities, technology trends, and customer needs to expand product offerings and enhance competitive positioning.
Collaborate with sales, engineering, and supply chain to align manufacturing capabilities with market demands.
Operations & Production Excellence
Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, including fabrication, assembly, quality control, and testing of custom mechanical products.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives leveraging Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 technologies to optimize productivity and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
Product Development & Engineering Collaboration
Partner with R&D and engineering teams to support the design, prototyping, and scale-up of new mechanical solutions.
Facilitate effective communication between manufacturing and engineering to ensure manufacturability and product reliability.
Manage fabrication and custom machining capabilities to meet project specifications and timelines.
Leadership & Talent Management
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of manufacturing managers, engineers, and technicians.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.

Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
Experience:
12+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, including custom mechanical product environments
Demonstrated success in scaling manufacturing operations and driving operational excellence
Experience in water treatment, valve manufacturing, or industrial mechanical solutions preferred
Skills:
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, welding, assembly, and testing
Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning abilities
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects
