The Vice President of Engineering & Construction leads the strategic planning, design, and execution of large-scale water treatment system projects. This executive role oversees engineering design, construction management, project delivery, and cross-functional coordination to ensure successful implementation of water treatment infrastructure that meets technical, safety, environmental, and budgetary standards.
Strategic Leadership & Project Oversight
Lead the engineering and construction teams in delivering complex water treatment plant projects, including upgrades, expansions, and new installations.
Develop and execute long-term strategies to improve project delivery efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.
Ensure alignment between engineering design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
Engineering & Design Management
Oversee detailed engineering design efforts for water treatment processes, mechanical systems, piping, valves, instrumentation, and civil works.
Review and approve engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with industry codes (ASME, AWWA, ASTM) and regulatory requirements.
Drive innovation and technology adoption in design and construction methodologies.
Construction & Field Operations
Manage construction activities including site preparation, installation, quality control, and safety compliance.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies to ensure timely and compliant project execution.
Monitor project schedules, budgets, and risks, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
Build and lead high-performing multi-disciplinary teams across engineering, construction, procurement, and quality assurance.
Foster collaboration with clients, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders.
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering
Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
Experience:
12+ years of progressive leadership in water treatment engineering and construction projects
Proven track record managing multi-million-dollar infrastructure projects
In-depth knowledge of water treatment technologies, construction standards, and regulatory frameworks
Skills:
