This role provides strategic direction for utility performance, manages cross-functional teams and contractors, ensures compliance with regulatory and food safety standards, and leads utility optimization and energy efficiency initiatives. The Senior Utilities Supervisor also plays a key role in capital project execution and long-term infrastructure planning.
Direct daily operations of utility systems to ensure consistent, uninterrupted supply to support manufacturing, sanitation, and facility functions.
Develop and enforce operational standards, response protocols, and emergency procedures for critical utility assets.
Oversee shift coverage, training, and workload allocation among operators and technicians.
Lead maintenance planning, reliability improvements, and risk mitigation strategies for all utilities infrastructure.
Manage long-term asset lifecycle planning, including replacement schedules, upgrades, and capital justifications.
Conduct and lead root cause analyses (RCA) for system failures, with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Ensure all systems comply with OSHA, EPA, FDA, GMP, and state/local utility regulations.
Lead utility compliance audits, documentation practices, water quality sampling, and emissions monitoring.
Champion process safety, LOTO, confined space, and high-pressure system safety practices.
