Job Description: Senior UI/UX Designer
Job Summary:
As a Senior UI/UX Designer to lead the design and user experience strategy for our digital products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in user research, interaction design, and visual aesthetics, ensuring seamless and engaging user experiences across web and mobile platforms. This role requires a creative problem solver who can translate business goals into intuitive digital experiences while mentoring junior designers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead UI/UX design efforts across web and mobile applications.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs based on user needs and business goals.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to refine user experiences.
- Define and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI components for consistency.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to create seamless user journeys.
- Improve user experience by identifying pain points and proposing innovative solutions.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, tools, and best practices in UI/UX design.
- Mentor and guide junior UI/UX designers, ensuring high-quality design outputs.
- Optimize designs for usability, accessibility, and performance.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Strong understanding of user-centered design (UCD) principles, usability, and accessibility.
- Expertise in wireframing, prototyping, and UI/UX design methodologies.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Proficiency in designing intuitive user flows and interactive experiences.
- Ability to collaborate with developers and ensure smooth design implementation.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in UI/UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- A strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX projects with a focus on usability and aesthetics.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in UI/UX design.
- Proven track record of designing and improving digital experiences at scale.
