Job Title: UI/UX Designer
Job Summary:
As a Junior UI/UX Designer to create engaging and user-friendly digital experiences. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of user experience principles, wireframing, and prototyping, with some hands-on experience in designing for web and mobile applications. This role involves working closely with senior designers, developers, and product managers to improve digital interfaces and enhance overall user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs that align with business and user needs.
- Conduct user research, gather feedback, and implement improvements in design.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless UI/UX implementation.
- Maintain consistency in visual style and branding across digital products.
- Assist in usability testing and analyze results to refine design solutions.
- Stay updated with UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.
- Work with product and marketing teams to enhance customer engagement through design.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, design thinking, and usability best practices.
- Experience in wireframing, prototyping, and designing user interfaces.
- Basic knowledge of user research and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with responsive and mobile-first design concepts.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to take feedback and iterate designs accordingly.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- A strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX projects.
Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in UI/UX design (internships or freelance projects are acceptable).
Key Focus Areas:
- Creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Enhancing user experience based on research and usability testing.
- Collaborating with developers and stakeholders for seamless implementation.
- Improving the aesthetics and usability of digital products.
Tools & Software:
- Required: Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch.
- Preferred: Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision, Basic HTML & CSS knowledge.
