Job Title: Turbocharger Machining Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Mid-Level Turbocharger Machining Supervisor leads and coordinates machining operations for turbocharger components, ensuring efficient production, high-quality output, and strict adherence to safety standards. This role manages a team of machinists, oversees CNC and manual machining processes, and collaborates closely with engineering, quality, and maintenance to optimize workflows and resolve technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily machining activities for turbocharger parts, including turbine wheels, compressor housings, shafts, and other precision components.

• Manage team scheduling, workload balancing, and resource allocation to meet production targets and deadlines.

• Enforce quality standards and inspect machined parts for dimensional accuracy and surface finish.

• Collaborate with engineering and quality departments to implement process improvements and resolve machining-related issues.

• Oversee maintenance and calibration of CNC machines and tooling to minimize downtime and maintain precision.

• Train, mentor, and evaluate machinists and operators to enhance skills and productivity.

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies.

• Track and report key performance metrics such as yield rates, scrap levels, and machine utilization.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

• Technical diploma or associate degree in machining, manufacturing, or related field preferred

Experience:

• 3–6 years of experience in precision machining, preferably with turbocharger or rotating components

• Proven supervisory or team lead experience in a machining environment

Technical Skills:

• Proficient with CNC machining centers, tooling, and inspection instruments

• Strong knowledge of machining processes, tolerances, and quality control

• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and manufacturing documentation
