Job Title: Turbine Performance Analyst (HVAC Systems)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior Turbine Performance Analyst (HVAC Systems) to lead our data-driven initiatives and drive efficiency improvements across turbine-integrated HVAC systems. In this role, you will spearhead advanced performance analysis projects, develop predictive models, and provide expert guidance on optimizing system operations for maximum energy efficiency and sustainability. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and mentor junior analysts, ensuring that our HVAC systems remain at the forefront of technological innovation and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Advanced Data Analysis & Performance Evaluation:
- Lead the analysis of complex performance data from turbine systems integrated within HVAC applications using advanced analytical tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python, R, or similar).
- Develop and implement sophisticated predictive models and simulation tools to forecast system performance under various operational conditions.
- Identify trends, inefficiencies, and anomalies, and recommend actionable improvements to enhance system performance and energy efficiency.
Strategic Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare detailed technical reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate performance metrics, analysis outcomes, and strategic recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Oversee the documentation of analysis methodologies, benchmarking data, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Ensure that all findings are presented in a clear, concise, and actionable manner to support data-driven decision-making.
Optimization and Troubleshooting:
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to integrate analytical insights into system optimization and troubleshooting efforts.
- Lead root-cause analysis investigations for recurring performance issues, devising innovative solutions to mitigate downtime and boost operational reliability.
- Monitor the impact of implemented changes and continuously refine performance models based on real-world data.
Leadership and Mentorship:
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level analysts, sharing best practices and advanced analytical techniques.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven innovation within the team.
- Lead cross-functional projects and contribute to the development of strategic initiatives focused on sustainability and energy optimization.

Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Advanced coursework or professional training in turbine systems, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, or energy systems analysis is highly desirable.
Experience:
- 7-10+ years of professional experience in performance analysis, data analytics, or HVAC systems engineering, with a focus on turbine-based systems.
- Proven track record of leading complex projects and driving significant performance improvements in energy systems.
Skills:
- Expert proficiency with advanced data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python, R, and similar platforms).
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical insights clearly.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience mentoring and guiding cross-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of HVAC system operations and the integration of turbine technologies within these systems.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Relevant industry certifications in data analytics, HVAC technology, or energy management are beneficial.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.
