Job Title: Turbine Performance Analyst (HVAC Systems)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Turbine Performance Analyst (HVAC Systems) to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for candidates with some hands-on experience or relevant training in data analysis and HVAC systems. You will work under the guidance of senior analysts and engineers to monitor, analyze, and optimize the performance of turbine systems integrated within HVAC applications, contributing to energy efficiency and sustainable operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection & Analysis:

  • Assist in gathering performance data from turbine systems used in HVAC applications.
  • Utilize data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, MATLAB, Python) to evaluate system efficiency, energy consumption, and overall performance.
  • Help identify trends and potential areas for improvement through detailed data review.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare and update technical reports summarizing performance metrics and analysis results.
  • Maintain accurate records of data collection processes, analysis methodologies, and performance outcomes.
  • Document observations and proposed corrective actions for review by senior team members.

Support for System Optimization:

  • Collaborate with engineers to integrate data-driven insights into system optimization projects.
  • Participate in troubleshooting sessions to understand performance issues and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of performance benchmarks and standards.

Collaboration and Continuous Learning:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers.
  • Participate in team meetings, design reviews, and technical workshops to share analysis findings.
  • Engage in on-the-job training and mentorship programs to enhance your technical skills in turbine performance analysis and HVAC systems.

  • System Optimization: Support the continuous monitoring and optimization of HVAC-integrated turbine systems.

Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Coursework or academic projects in turbine systems, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, or energy systems analysis are advantageous.

Experience:

  • 1-3 yreas relevant internship or project experience in HVAC systems, turbine performance, or data analysis is preferred.
  • Prior exposure to data analysis software (e.g., Excel, MATLAB, Python) is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using data analysis tools and the ability to interpret technical data.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for reporting technical findings.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to evolving challenges.
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow within the HVAC performance analysis field.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Relevant certifications or training in data analytics, HVAC technology, or energy management are beneficial but not required.
