Job Title: Senior Turbine Mechanical Fitter

Job Summary:

As a Senior Turbine Mechanical Fitter, you will lead the installation, maintenance, and repair of turbine systems and components. You will mentor junior technicians and ensure that all turbine systems operate efficiently and safely. Your role will involve performing advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing effective solutions to maintain optimal performance and safety standards. You will also be responsible for managing projects, coordinating with clients, and contributing to the continuous improvement of turbine maintenance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation:

   • Lead the installation of turbine systems and components.

   • Ensure proper setup and calibration of turbine equipment according to manufacturer specifications.

   • Coordinate with contractors and other team members to complete installations efficiently.

2. Maintenance:

   • Perform and supervise advanced maintenance and inspections on turbine systems to ensure optimal performance.

   • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent turbine breakdowns.

   • Identify and replace worn or damaged components to maintain optimal performance.

3. Troubleshooting:

   • Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to turbine performance and safety.

   • Use advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify problems and implement effective solutions.

   • Provide guidance and support to junior technicians in addressing technical challenges.

4. Repairs:

   • Conduct and supervise repairs on turbine systems and components as needed.

   • Ensure that all repairs are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

   • Maintain comprehensive records of repairs and parts used.

5. Documentation:

   • Maintain detailed records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs.

   • Prepare comprehensive reports on turbine performance and any issues encountered.

   • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible for future reference.

6. Compliance:

   • Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.

   • Stay informed about changes in regulations and standards that may impact turbine maintenance and repair.

   • Lead safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines.

7. Quality Control:

   • Lead quality control processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

   • Conduct tests and inspections to verify the quality and performance of turbine systems.

   • Implement corrective actions to address any quality issues identified during inspections.
