We are looking for a diligent and safety-conscious Fresher Turbine Logistics Technician to support turbine equipment handling activities including rigging, preservation, and offloading at project sites or warehouses. The role is critical in ensuring turbine components are safely transported, stored, and prepared for installation.
Assist in the rigging, lifting, and movement of turbine components using cranes, hoists, and rigging equipment under supervision.
Support preservation activities including cleaning, coating, wrapping, and sealing turbine parts to prevent corrosion and damage during storage and transportation.
Participate in offloading turbine equipment from trucks, containers, or vessels safely and efficiently.
Follow safety protocols and best practices during all logistics operations.
Inspect and report on the condition of turbine components before and after transportation or storage.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to equipment handling and preservation.
Coordinate with logistics teams, warehouse staff, and site supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
Participate in training sessions to develop skills in turbine logistics, rigging, and preservation.
Rigging and Lifting: Safe handling of heavy turbine components using appropriate rigging techniques and equipment.
Preservation: Application of protective coatings and methods to prevent corrosion and environmental damage.
Offloading Operations: Coordinated and safe offloading of turbine equipment from transportation vehicles.
Safety Compliance: Adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations during all logistics activities.
Equipment Inspection: Basic inspection and reporting of turbine parts condition.
Documentation: Accurate record-keeping for logistics and preservation processes.
Team Collaboration: Working effectively with logistics, operations, and site teams.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in logistics or mechanical fields is a plus.
Basic understanding or willingness to learn rigging and preservation techniques.
Physical fitness to handle manual tasks and work in outdoor or industrial environments.
