We are looking for a competent and experienced Steam Plant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our steam generation facilities. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background in steam systems and mechanical operations, with hands-on experience in supervising plant operations, maintenance crews, and safety compliance. This role involves optimizing steam plant performance, leading maintenance schedules, and ensuring safe, reliable steam supply for industrial processes.
Supervise and monitor the continuous operation of steam boilers, turbines, feedwater systems, and auxiliary equipment.
Adjust system controls to regulate steam pressure, temperature, and flow in accordance with operational demands.
Ensure energy efficiency and compliance with operational protocols and production requirements.
Lead scheduled and preventive maintenance of boilers, valves, piping, pumps, and instrumentation.
Diagnose faults or inefficiencies in mechanical systems and initiate timely corrective actions.
Coordinate with maintenance technicians and external contractors for complex repair jobs.
Supervise plant operators, technicians, and support staff, ensuring effective task delegation.
Provide technical guidance, on-the-job training, and performance feedback to junior team members.
Enforce safety rules and ensure team adherence to environmental and operational standards.
Ensure strict compliance with OSHA, environmental, and facility-specific safety standards.
Monitor and maintain safety systems, emergency procedures, and emission control measures.
Participate in regular safety drills, audits, and inspections.
Maintain daily operational logs, incident reports, and maintenance records.
Analyze performance data to optimize operations and reduce downtime.
Prepare reports for management on plant status, equipment condition, and operational efficiency.

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Power Plant Engineering, or a related field
Valid Boiler Operation Engineer (BOE) License or equivalent certification preferred
3–7 years of experience in steam plant operations or utility plant environments
Proven experience in supervising plant operations and maintenance teams
Strong knowledge of boiler systems, steam turbines, pressure vessels, and control systems
Familiarity with steam traps, condensate return systems, and boiler water treatment
Competence in interpreting technical drawings, P&IDs, and control diagrams
Effective communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities
Computer literacy with plant monitoring software and maintenance tools
