Overview of the Role
Talent Pool is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mid-Level Spare Parts Coordinator to join our dynamic team in India. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing and optimizing the spare parts inventory specifically related to valve Bill of Materials (BOMs) and reorder point systems. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills, technical understanding of valve components, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure the availability of critical spare parts, minimize downtime, and support operational efficiency.
As a key member of our supply chain and maintenance support team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate BOM records, analyzing inventory levels, and setting appropriate minimum and maximum reorder points. Your efforts will directly impact the company's ability to respond swiftly to maintenance needs while controlling inventory costs. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of inventory management principles, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain comprehensive valve Bill of Materials (BOMs), ensuring accuracy and completeness to facilitate procurement, inventory management, and maintenance planning.

Analyze current inventory levels and historical usage data to establish and regularly review minimum and maximum reorder points for spare parts, optimizing stock levels to prevent shortages and excess inventory.

Coordinate with procurement, maintenance, and engineering teams to forecast spare parts requirements based on operational schedules and maintenance plans.

Monitor inventory levels continuously, generate reorder notifications, and initiate purchase orders in accordance with established thresholds and company policies.

Maintain detailed records of spare parts, BOM updates, and reorder points within inventory management systems, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.

Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of parts, resolve discrepancies, and evaluate supplier performance.

Conduct regular audits of inventory to verify stock accuracy, identify obsolete or slow-moving items, and recommend actions for inventory optimization.

Support maintenance teams by providing accurate spare parts information and ensuring availability to minimize equipment downtime.
