Overview of the Role

The Spare Parts Coordinator at Talent Pool is a vital role responsible for managing and maintaining the accuracy and availability of spare parts related to valves within our organization. This junior-level position requires a detail-oriented individual who can efficiently handle Bill of Materials (BOMs) for valves, monitor inventory levels, and establish optimal reorder points to ensure seamless operational continuity. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with procurement, inventory management, and maintenance teams to facilitate timely replenishment of spare parts, minimize downtime, and support the overall efficiency of our engineering and maintenance functions. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to develop their expertise in inventory control and parts management within a dynamic industrial environment based in AE.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Valve BOMs: Maintain and update detailed Bill of Materials for all valve-related spare parts, ensuring accuracy and completeness to facilitate procurement and inventory processes.
  • Monitor Inventory Levels: Regularly review stock levels of spare parts, identify shortages or excesses, and coordinate with relevant teams to optimize inventory holdings.
  • Establish and Maintain Reorder Points: Set and adjust minimum and maximum reorder thresholds for each spare part based on usage patterns, lead times, and operational requirements to ensure optimal stock availability.
  • Coordinate Replenishment Activities: Initiate purchase orders and communicate with suppliers to replenish stock in accordance with established reorder points, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing downtime.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, BOM updates, and reorder activities to support audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with procurement, maintenance, and engineering teams to understand spare parts requirements and provide support for maintenance planning and execution.
  • Analyze Usage Data: Review historical consumption data to identify trends, forecast future needs, and recommend adjustments to reorder points and inventory levels.
  • Support Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives related to spare parts management and inventory control to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
