The Mid-Level Spare Parts Coordinator is responsible for managing the inventory, procurement support, and distribution of turbine spare parts, focusing on seals, gaskets, and control valves. This role ensures availability of critical components to support turbine maintenance and overhaul activities, maintains accurate records in ERP/CMMS systems, and liaises across procurement, stores, and maintenance teams to optimize parts flow and minimize downtime.
Monitor stock levels of seals, gaskets, control valves, and related consumables, ensuring alignment with minimum and maximum inventory thresholds.
Conduct periodic physical inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
Analyze consumption trends and recommend reorder quantities and timing to optimize inventory turnover.
Collaborate with procurement teams to prepare and track purchase requisitions and purchase orders for critical spare parts.
Follow up on supplier deliveries, ensuring compliance with specifications and timely receipt.
Coordinate timely issuance of spare parts to maintenance and overhaul teams, prioritizing critical needs to avoid operational delays.
Maintain detailed records of parts issuance, returns, and usage history linked to maintenance work orders in ERP/CMMS platforms.
Maintain and update Bills of Materials (BoMs), part master data, and technical specifications for seals, gaskets, and valves.
Generate inventory status reports, consumption analyses, and support audit activities.
Ensure proper storage conditions and preservation methods are followed to maintain part integrity, particularly for elastomers and precision valve components.
Coordinate shelf-life monitoring and timely replacement or reconditioning of critical parts.
Inventory control and optimization for turbine seals, gaskets, and control valves

Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Experience: 3–6 years in spare parts coordination or inventory management, preferably in power generation, rotating equipment, or heavy industry
Skills:
Proficient in ERP/CMMS systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
Good understanding of mechanical components (seals, gaskets, valves) and maintenance requirements
Effective communication and cross-functional coordination abilities
