The Spare Parts Coordinator (Fresher) supports the identification, tracking, and availability of turbine-related spare parts, including seals, gaskets, and control valves. This entry-level role is ideal for recent engineering or technical graduates seeking hands-on experience in maintenance logistics, inventory coordination, and equipment lifecycle support for rotating machinery in power or process industries.
Assist in verifying part numbers, technical specifications, and material types for turbine-related components such as gaskets, o-rings, shaft seals, and valve kits.
Maintain up-to-date part catalogs and support creation of part master records in inventory systems.
Track minimum stock levels and assist in initiating reorder requests for frequently used seals and valves.
Participate in physical inventory counts and update stock data accordingly.
Collaborate with warehouse and procurement teams to ensure timely issue and delivery of parts to maintenance or project teams.
Confirm receipt and inspection status of incoming spare parts.
Maintain records of issued parts, work order references, and equipment history tracking in CMMS/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo).
Assist in updating the Bill of Materials (BoM) and part usage logs for scheduled overhauls.
Ensure parts are stored under appropriate environmental and labeling conditions (especially elastomers and precision valves).
Learn industry preservation requirements and support shelf-life monitoring and tagging.
Basic coordination of turbine spare parts, especially seals, gaskets, and control valves
Supporting inventory accuracy, stock level tracking, and replenishment planning
Cross-functional coordination with maintenance, stores, and procurement
Documentation of part usage and traceability in ERP/CMMS systems
Understanding of storage, shelf-life, and preservation standards for critical spares
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related technical field
Experience: 0–1 year (internship or project work in maintenance, warehousing, or parts handling is a plus)
Skills:
Familiarity with mechanical parts and maintenance terminology
Basic Excel and ERP/CMMS system skills (SAP, Oracle, Maximo – a plus)
Good organization, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn spare parts workflows
