Job Title: Social Media Manager/Strategist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Social Media Manager/Strategist to lead the development, execution, and optimization of our social media initiatives. This role is responsible for creating innovative strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and revenue growth across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is both creative and analytical, capable of leading a dynamic team while aligning social media efforts with overarching business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Execution:

    • Develop, implement, and continuously optimize comprehensive social media strategies that support brand goals and business growth.
    • Integrate social media campaigns with broader marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall company messaging.
  • Campaign Management:

    • Oversee the planning, creation, and execution of high-impact social media campaigns across platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
    • Monitor campaign performance using KPIs and analytics, and adjust tactics to maximize engagement and ROI.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration:

    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of social media professionals and content creators.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, PR, design, and product teams to ensure a unified brand message.
  • Content Strategy & Community Engagement:

    • Develop creative, engaging content tailored to each platform and audience.
    • Foster community engagement by managing interactions, responding to inquiries, and cultivating relationships with influencers and brand advocates.
  • Analytics & Reporting:

    • Utilize data analytics tools to track performance, generate insights, and prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
    • Continuously evaluate and refine strategies based on performance metrics and industry trends.
  • Crisis Management & Brand Reputation:

    • Monitor social media channels for potential issues or crises, and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks.
    • Uphold and enhance the brand’s reputation through consistent messaging and responsive communication.

  • Leadership & Communication:

    • Proven leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring a diverse team.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at storytelling and conveying complex ideas.
  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Familiarity with digital marketing, SEO, content management systems, and graphic design basics.
  • Project Management:

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree:
    • In Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Advanced Certifications (Preferred):
    • Certifications in Digital Marketing, Social Media Strategy, or related disciplines.
  • Advanced Degree (Optional):
    • A Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business can be an asset.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Experience working with various departments to integrate social media with broader marketing efforts.
