The Service & Repair Supervisor – HVAC Systems (Junior Level) supports the management and coordination of HVAC service and repair teams. This role ensures timely, high-quality maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment for residential, commercial, or light industrial customers. Reporting to senior supervisors or managers, the junior supervisor assists in scheduling, quality control, technician support, and customer communication to maintain system reliability and customer satisfaction.
Assist in supervising HVAC service technicians during routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Help schedule daily service calls and prioritize urgent repair requests.
Support technician training on safety, troubleshooting, and repair best practices.
Monitor service quality and ensure work is completed according to company standards and manufacturer guidelines.
Assist in enforcing safety protocols, including PPE use and proper handling of refrigerants.
Help maintain compliance with relevant codes and regulations (e.g., EPA refrigerant handling).
Assist in managing customer communications regarding service status, repair timelines, and follow-ups.
Support resolution of basic service issues and escalate complex problems to senior staff.
Ensure accurate completion of service reports, work orders, and maintenance records.
Help track service metrics such as response time, first-time fix rates, and customer feedback.

Technical diploma or associate degree in HVAC technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred
1–3 years experience in HVAC service and repair, preferably with some exposure to supervisory responsibilities
Familiarity with HVAC systems, troubleshooting, and repair techniques
Basic supervisory and team coordination skills
Good understanding of HVAC equipment and maintenance procedures
Strong communication and customer service orientation
Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to HVAC servicing
Ability to work under direction and support a team environment
