Roles & Responsibilities

Job Role 

Engaged on a per-job or shift basis to ensure the safety and security of residential, commercial, or construction sites. Responsibilities include monitoring surveillance systems, controlling access points, conducting regular patrols, and managing emergency situations in accordance with client security policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Access control: Monitor and control entry and exit points to ensure authorized personnel and vehicles only access the premises. Verify identification of individuals and check vehicles for suspicious items.

  • Patrols: Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to ensure the safety of the property, personnel, and visitors; check doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are secure.

  • Surveillance monitoring: Continuously monitor CCTV and alarm systems, identify suspicious activities, and respond to alerts as necessary.

  • Incident reporting: Respond promptly to incidents, including security breaches, theft, or accidents, and report any unusual occurrences or security risks to the site supervisor or relevant authorities.

  • Emergency response: Handle emergency situations such as fires, medical incidents, or unauthorized access according to emergency protocols.

  • Customer service: Provide assistance to visitors, staff, or tenants, directing them as necessary, and maintaining a polite and professional demeanor at all times.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of activities, incidents, visitor information, and daily shift reports, ensuring all security details are documented correctly.

  • HSE compliance: Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations, including managing hazardous situations and following proper security procedures.

  • Security systems maintenance: Report and address any malfunctioning security equipment (CCTV cameras, alarms, etc.) and follow up on necessary repairs or replacements.

Minimum Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in security services (UAE experience preferred).

  • Knowledge of security systems and emergency response protocols.

  • Physical fitness to conduct regular patrols, lift objects, and respond to emergencies.

  • Strong communication skills for reporting incidents and interacting with visitors, clients, and staff.

  • Basic understanding of security technology (CCTV, alarms, access control systems).

  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and effectively.

  • Basic English for documentation and communication (Arabic/Hindi/Urdu a plus).

  • Valid UAE driving license (if required for the role) is an advantage.

Education & Certifications

  • High school diploma (preferred).

  • Security guard license from a UAE-recognized authority (required).

  • First Aid and Fire Safety certification (preferred).

  • HSE/OSHA or equivalent security training certification (preferred).
