We are seeking a highly skilled and Senior Scaffolding Erection Technician to lead scaffolding operations at large industrial sites and power plants. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of scaffolding systems, experience managing teams, and a strong focus on safety and compliance.
Lead the erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures
Supervise and mentor junior scaffolding technicians and helpers
Read and interpret scaffold drawings and ensure proper implementation
Conduct pre-use inspections and ensure all scaffolds are tagged appropriately
Ensure full compliance with safety standards and site regulations
Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and safety officers for work planning
Maintain scaffolding inventory and ensure materials are used efficiently
Identify hazards, conduct risk assessments, and report safety incidents when necessary
Valid Advanced Scaffolding Certification (CISRS Advanced, SAIA, or equivalent)
Valid Safety Certification (OSHA 30, HSE Supervisor, or equivalent)
Minimum 5–8 years of scaffolding experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Strong understanding of scaffold design, load calculations, and risk mitigation
Ability to lead teams, assign tasks, and ensure timely execution of scaffolding activities
Physically fit and comfortable working at height and in industrial environments
Previous experience in scaffolding at refineries, power plants, or shutdown projects
Knowledge of international scaffolding standards (BS EN 12811, OSHA)
Familiarity with scaffold management systems and permit-to-work processes
