We are seeking a reliable and skilled Mid-Level Scaffolding Erection Technician to assist in the assembly, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding systems across various job sites. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation of experience in scaffolding erection, understands safety protocols, and can support both the planning and execution of scaffolding operations.
Assemble, install, and dismantle various types of scaffolding structures (tube and coupler, frame, system scaffolds).
Interpret basic drawings and layout plans to assist in proper scaffold placement and configuration.
Work closely with team members to safely erect scaffolding according to design and load requirements.
Conduct visual inspections of scaffolding components for damage or wear.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and job site regulations.
Assist with tagging and documenting scaffold systems as per project protocols.
Provide support to junior crew members and help guide less experienced workers.
Maintain clean and organized job sites, including proper handling and storage of equipment.
Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members regarding project progress and any safety concerns.
2–4 years of scaffolding erection experience in construction, industrial, or maintenance settings.
Completion of a recognized scaffolding training course (e.g., CISRS Part 1/2, OSHA certification, or equivalent—based on region).
Good knowledge of scaffold types, load calculations, and erection techniques.
Basic ability to read and interpret scaffolding plans or drawings.
Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and perform in various weather conditions.
Knowledge of job site safety standards and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Valid driver’s license (preferred, depending on role requirements).
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
Time management and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
