Job Title: Sales Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Sales Engineer to join our sales team. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise and sales acumen to identify client needs, present tailored solutions, and drive sales of our technical products and services. You will work closely with clients to understand their requirements, provide technical support, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement:

    • Identify and engage potential clients to understand their technical and business requirements.

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and point of contact for technical inquiries.

  • Solution Development:

    • Collaborate with clients to develop customized solutions that meet their specific needs.

    • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations that effectively communicate the value and benefits of our products and services.

  • Sales Process Management:

    • Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring alignment with company sales strategies and goals.

    • Negotiate contracts and terms to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.

  • Technical Support and Consultation:

    • Provide ongoing technical support to clients, addressing any issues or concerns that arise.

    • Work closely with the product development team to relay client feedback and contribute to product enhancements.

  • Market Analysis:

    • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

    • Provide insights and recommendations to the sales and marketing teams based on market analysis.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field) or a related technical discipline.

  • 3–5 years of experience in technical sales or sales engineering roles.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a technical sales environment.

  • Strong understanding of the sales process and the ability to translate technical features into business benefits.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
