Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and technically inclined Entry-Level Sales Engineer to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will assist in bridging the gap between complex technical products and customer needs. Under the guidance of senior sales engineers and managers, you will support the sales process by providing technical expertise, preparing documentation, and engaging with clients to ensure their requirements are effectively met.
Technical Support in Sales:
Assist in preparing and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
Understand and convey customer technical requirements to internal teams to ensure alignment between product offerings and client needs.
Client Engagement:
Participate in client meetings to gather requirements and provide basic technical insights.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring a clear understanding of their needs and providing timely responses to inquiries.
Documentation and Proposal Preparation:
Prepare technical documentation, proposals, and quotations tailored to client specifications.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Market and Product Research:
Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand market trends.
Stay updated on product knowledge and industry developments to effectively communicate product benefits to clients.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
Work closely with engineering and product development teams to relay customer feedback and contribute to product improvements.
Coordinate with the marketing team to develop materials that highlight product features and benefits.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field) or a related technical discipline.
Strong interest in sales and customer interaction.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
Familiarity with CRM software and MS Office Suite is a plus.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to grasp complex product details.
