    • Support the integration of safety and compliance instrumentation with existing production and process systems to ensure smooth operation.
    • Help with the setup of monitoring systems that track critical parameters (pressure, temperature, flow) to ensure safety standards are met.
  2. Calibration and Maintenance:

    • Assist in the calibration of safety and compliance instrumentation systems to ensure the accuracy of measurements and proper system performance.
    • Perform routine maintenance on safety instrumentation systems, including inspecting, cleaning, and replacing components as needed.
    • Help monitor and ensure that instruments are functioning correctly and meet safety standards, conducting regular checks to prevent system failure.
  3. Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:

    • Assist senior engineers in troubleshooting issues with instrumentation systems, such as sensor malfunctions or failure to meet calibration standards.
    • Help identify the root cause of instrumentation problems and assist in resolving issues to minimize downtime and prevent safety violations.
    • Support corrective actions and ensure the safety systems are restored to proper working order promptly.
  4. Data Collection and Reporting:

    • Collect and record data from safety and compliance instrumentation systems, such as sensor readings, alarms, and system performance data.
    • Assist in generating reports to track system performance and compliance with safety regulations.
    • Support the preparation of documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews to demonstrate compliance with safety standards.
  5. Compliance and Safety Monitoring:

    • Ensure that safety and compliance instrumentation systems comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements, such as OSHA, EPA, or ISO guidelines.
    • Work with senior engineers to monitor and verify the operation of safety systems, ensuring they perform as required under normal and emergency conditions.
    • Help maintain safety records, including calibration logs, maintenance activities, and compliance checks.
  6. Collaboration and Teamwork:

    • Work closely with engineers, operators, and maintenance teams to ensure the proper functioning of safety and compliance systems.
    • Assist in coordinating with cross-functional teams to identify and address any safety or compliance issues related to instrumentation systems.
    • Provide technical support to operators on the proper use of safety instrumentation systems and assist in the identification of potential risks.
  7. Learning and Development:

    • Continuously develop knowledge and understanding of safety and compliance instrumentation, including learning about industry standards and the latest technology in safety systems.
    • Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance your understanding of safety regulations, instrumentation systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
    • Stay up to date on new developments in safety instrumentation, sensors, and related technologies to improve system performance and efficiency.
  8. Documentation and Compliance:

    • Assist in the documentation of safety instrumentation activities, including installation procedures, maintenance logs, and system performance reports.
    • Ensure that all records related to safety instrumentation are accurate, complete, and easily accessible for future audits or inspections.
    • Support the creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines for the use and maintenance of instrumentation systems.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Basic understanding of industrial instrumentation systems, including sensors, control systems, and emergency shutdown devices.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO, EPA) is an advantage.
  • Eagerness to learn about safety and compliance instrumentation technologies and regulatory requirements.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail to assist in troubleshooting and maintaining instrumentation systems.
  • Ability to work with data collection tools and assist in generating reports to track system performance and compliance.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and document system activities.
  • Ability to follow instructions, work under supervision, and contribute to team objectives.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Coursework or certifications related to industrial instrumentation, safety systems, or regulatory compliance is a plus.

Experience:
