The Senior Retail Supply Chain Executive is responsible for supporting and optimizing supply chain operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, logistics coordination, and supplier collaboration. This role involves analyzing supply chain performance, implementing process improvements, and assisting in demand planning to enhance overall operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain processes, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience working in a fast-paced retail environment.
Support the development and execution of supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Assist in demand forecasting and inventory planning to ensure optimal stock levels across retail locations.
Monitor supply chain KPIs and identify areas for process improvement.
Work closely with warehouses, distribution centers, and logistics providers to enhance supply chain efficiency.
Track inventory levels and coordinate with procurement teams to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
Assist in managing supplier relationships to ensure timely deliveries and high-quality service.
Support the implementation of technology solutions to improve inventory tracking and logistics processes.
Coordinate with logistics partners to streamline transportation and distribution operations.
Identify inefficiencies in supply chain workflows and recommend process enhancements.
Assist in developing contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
Work with IT and data teams to improve reporting and analytics tools for supply chain tracking.
Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to support supply chain innovation.
Work closely with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
Support promotional campaigns by ensuring sufficient inventory availability.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize sourcing and procurement processes.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or retail operations.
Proficiency in supply chain management software (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and data analytics tools.
Strong analytical skills with experience in inventory planning and demand forecasting.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced retail environment.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Knowledge of global supply chain operations and compliance is a plus.
