Job Summary:
We are looking for an energetic and customer-oriented Junior Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates eager to develop their retail and customer service skills in a supportive and fast-paced environment. The Junior Retail Sales Associate will assist in driving sales, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining store presentation while learning best practices for career growth in the retail industry.
Customer Service & Support
· Greet customers warmly, assist with inquiries, and guide them to products that match their needs.
· Provide basic product information and support the sales team in delivering a positive shopping experience.
· Assist in addressing customer questions and escalating complex issues to senior team members.
Sales Assistance & Merchandising
· Support daily sales operations by organizing merchandise, restocking shelves, and setting up displays under supervision.
· Learn and assist in executing upselling and cross-selling techniques to contribute to sales targets.
· Help maintain a clean and inviting store environment, ensuring all displays are attractive and well-organized.
Point of Sale & Transaction Support
· Assist with processing transactions at the Point of Sale (POS) system under guidance.
· Learn to handle cash, credit, and digital payments accurately, and support returns and exchanges in line with store policies.
· Keep records of transactions and assist in managing discrepancies by working closely with senior staff.
Learning & Development
· Engage in regular training sessions to build product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
· Collaborate with the team to learn effective communication strategies and store procedures.
· Seek feedback and take initiative in personal development to progress within the retail environment.
Team Collaboration
· Work cooperatively with team members to ensure smooth store operations and achieve collective sales goals.
· Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve customer experiences and operational efficiency.

Educational Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in retail, sales, or business is a plus.
Experience:
