Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and ensuring a welcoming in-store experience. Customer Service & Sales
· Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
· Provide detailed product information and answer any customer inquiries to facilitate informed purchasing decisions.
· Upsell and cross-sell products, contributing to the achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
Merchandising & Store Maintenance
· Assist in maintaining visual merchandising standards by organizing products, setting up displays, and ensuring shelves are well-stocked.
· Ensure the store environment is clean, safe, and inviting at all times.
· Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with management to replenish stock as needed.
Transaction & POS Management
· Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including cash, credit, and digital payments.
· Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies while ensuring customer satisfaction.
· Maintain accurate records of transactions and report discrepancies to the management.
Product Knowledge & Continuous Improvement
· Develop a thorough understanding of products and services offered, including current promotions and new arrivals.
· Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to provide relevant insights to customers.
· Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance sales techniques and product knowledge.
Team Collaboration & Communication
· Work closely with team members and management to ensure seamless store operations and a consistent customer experience.
· Communicate customer feedback and market trends to help shape future sales strategies.
· Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture that fosters professional growth.
Educational Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in sales, marketing, or business administration is a plus.
Experience:
· Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, though not required.
· Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets is advantageous.
Skills:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
