Engaged on a per-job or project basis to perform renovation and remodeling services for residential and commercial properties. The role involves executing various tasks related to property upgrades, such as plumbing, electrical work, flooring, tiling, drywalling, painting, carpentry, and general refurbishment. The Renovation Technician will be responsible for ensuring that the renovation work meets client specifications and is completed in a timely, safe, and professional manner.
Renovation & Remodeling:
Carry out a variety of renovation tasks, including installing or repairing plumbing, electrical, flooring, drywall, and cabinetry.
Replace or upgrade windows, doors, and other structural components as part of the renovation project.
Install flooring (tiles, wood, vinyl), wall cladding, and other finishing materials as per project specifications.
Repair or replace structural elements such as beams, columns, and load-bearing walls.
Carry out painting and finishing work (e.g., walls, ceilings, trim, cabinets).
Site Preparation & Demolition:
Prepare sites for renovation by removing old or outdated fixtures, cabinetry, and flooring.
Perform safe demolition and disposal of debris as per project guidelines, ensuring compliance with local waste disposal regulations.
Conduct site inspections and assessments to determine the scope of renovation works and ensure compliance with building codes.
Customer Communication & Service:
Consult with clients to discuss renovation needs, budgets, timelines, and material preferences.
Provide clear and accurate estimates and cost breakdowns for renovation projects.
Address client questions or concerns promptly, maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor throughout the project.
Keep clients informed of progress and notify them of any issues or delays.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure that all renovation work is performed according to local building codes and regulations.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including proper use of PPE and safe handling of tools and materials.
Manage the safe disposal of construction and demolition waste.
Perform final safety checks to ensure that renovated areas are ready for occupancy.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of tasks completed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
Submit detailed reports, including before-and-after photos, to CRM.
Provide clients with invoices, work reports, and necessary warranty information.
3–5 years of hands-on experience in renovation, construction, or remodeling (UAE/GCC preferred).
Proven ability to work with various construction materials and systems, including plumbing, electrical, flooring, carpentry, and painting.
Experience in the safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment for demolition and renovation.
Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints, diagrams, and project specifications.
Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently.
Basic English for communication and documentation (Arabic/Hindi/Urdu a plus).
Smartphone for CRM, navigation, and photo documentation.
Valid UAE driving license preferred; willingness to travel between job sites.
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Trade certificates in construction, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC are a plus.
First Aid and HSE Awareness certifications are advantageous.
