Overview of the Role

The Refinery Recruiter at Talent Pool is a vital position designed for individuals eager to embark on a career in recruitment within the oil and gas sector. This position is based in AE and requires a proactive approach to talent acquisition, ensuring that we attract and retain the best talent in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions that accurately reflect the requirements of each position.
  • Source potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates for further evaluation.
  • Conduct initial interviews to assess candidates' skills, experiences, and cultural fit within the organization.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and progress throughout the recruitment process.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of recruitment strategies to enhance the company’s visibility and attract top talent.
  • Participate in job fairs and recruitment events to promote the company and its career opportunities.
  • Support onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization.

Expertise

  • Minimum relevant diploma or higher degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in recruitment or human resources, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
