The Fresher Receiving Inspector supports the inbound quality inspection of turbine components, including rotors, blades, and bearing housings. The role ensures that received parts meet basic visual, dimensional, and documentation requirements. This is an entry-level opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in rotating equipment QA and inspection practices.
Assist in visual inspection of received turbine components for any signs of damage, corrosion, or handling defects.
Verify part tags, identification numbers, and condition of packaging upon delivery.
Match received components with purchase orders, packing lists, and material certificates (MTRs).
Ensure all documentation (inspection reports, delivery notes) is complete and filed properly.
Support measurement of critical dimensions using hand tools (calipers, micrometers) under supervision.
Confirm basic material condition and cleanliness prior to warehousing.
Inform QA or logistics teams of discrepancies or damage observed during receiving.
Assist in routing non-conforming items to hold areas and updating records accordingly.
Follow safe handling practices for large or heavy turbine parts (rotors, blades, housings).
Learn relevant standards such as API 611/612, ISO 9001, and internal receiving protocols.

Experience: 0–1 year (internship or academic project in mechanical QA/QC is a plus)
