Job Summary:
The Junior Radio Communications professional is responsible for assisting in the setup, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of radio communication systems. This entry-level role supports senior team members to ensure radio equipment operates efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and setup of radio communication systems, including base stations, antennas, and repeaters.
- Help with routine maintenance tasks for radio equipment, checking signal strength, ensuring proper wiring, and testing radio signals.
- Support troubleshooting of basic communication system faults.
- Document and log technical issues and maintenance activities.
- Assist with RF testing and monitoring equipment performance.
- Follow safety protocols when handling radio equipment and electrical systems.
- Provide support in preparing systems for testing and ensuring readiness for daily operations.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Basic understanding of radio communication technologies (e.g., VHF, UHF, FM, etc.).
- Familiarity with RF principles and antenna systems.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for radio equipment.
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures related to electrical and RF systems.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Educational Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic technical certifications in telecommunications or radio communications (preferred but not required).
Key Focus Areas:
- Radio communication system installation and maintenance.

- Assisting senior professionals with advanced tasks.
Experience:
- No prior experience required. Internships, apprenticeships, or hands-on experience through education are beneficial.
